Åbro Premium Lager

Åbro Premium Lager Label
Description: Åbro Premium Lager, transported From Sweden, as the label says, is a premium lager.
Åbro Premium Lager pours a nice gold colour with a full lasting head of coarse foam. It has a very slight aroma of malt. In the mouth the flavours mix well with the liquid, the whole mouthful working together. It has a fragrant, zesty hop taste, underpinned by a smooth, almost caramel, malt. The finish is short and dry, but full of the consolidated flavours in the lager.

The beer is made from three of the finest German hops: Spalt Select, Perle and Taurus, which gives Åbro beer a complex profile.

Spalt Select
Used for its zesty and slightly spicy aroma
Low bitterness
Grown in Germany

Perle
Dual purpose; used for its moderate bitterness and pleasant aroma
Spicy character
Grown in Germany

Taurus
Dual purpose; used for its bittering qualities and pleasant aroma
High bitterness
Seasoned, flavourful and zesty characteristics

A mix of Pilsner and Munich malts are used to further enhance the flavour in the lager.

The Åbro brewery sits on top of a natural spring that gives the purest of water, mixed with the essential elements from deep underground. This, and an absolute control of temperature throughout the production, makes the Åbro lager very special and well worth trying.

It is best served in a tall glass at 10°c.
