Batemans Vintage Ale Limited Release 2012

Batemans Vintage Ale Limited Release 2012 Back
Description: Batemans Vintage Ale Limited Release 2012 pours a lovely bronze colour with a lasting fine foam head. It is full of chocolate and dark molasses aroma, burnt hops and banana. The scent begs you to taste, and to taste… wow. Full of chocolate and burnt hops, the flavours expand in the mouth. The fine foam tingles at the edge of the flavours, leading onto softer banana, hops and wild grass flavours. A lingering taste of molasses, black treacle and sugar is left at the finish.

Each mouthful is a treat. This is not a fast drinking bear, but one to be savoured, and to be enjoyed as long as possible. At 7.5% abv, it is a strong beer, but the flavours it gives make it even more rewarding. This is a mahogany when you were expecting pine, and one you will remember for a long time.
