Bottlegreen Drinks Co. have been making natural soft drinks since 1989 when they planted 10 acres of elderflowers and created their first elderflower drink.
They now have over 22 different flavours, including many variations on the elderflower theme, and produce over 18 million bottles of juice a year. So when my good friends at Bottlegreen gave me a bottle of cordial and said ‘see what you can make of that’, they knew I would mix it with alcoholic spirits (amongst other things) to come up with a range of cocktails that I would drink.
So over the coming weeks you are going to see more cocktails added with an elderflower componant, that are both refreshing and seasonal.
First off is the Classic Elderflower G&T. This is like a regular G&T but with a binding of Elderflower, giving it a sweeter and more fragrant juice. It is perfect for those that may find a straight G&T too harsh.
