This Cuvée André Côtes du Rhône pours a bright ruby colour and has the distinct aroma of blackcurrant, black grapes and spices. It has a nice volume in the mouth, again full of dark fruits and spices with a nice warm finish without the tannins you might expect.
Serve at room temperature and allow to breathe to really bring out the taste and value in this wine.
Watch out for mixed shelves of 2010 and 2011 bottles; the labels are identical except for the year. The 2010 doesn’t really keep, so choose the 2011 every time for a much fresher and invigorating wine.
