Region: | Chile, Colchagua Valley |
Grapes: | 100% Chardonnay |
Description: | A lemon green colour in the glass that hints at a fuller flavour. On the nose, it has light tropical fruits with vegetal notes, complimented and balanced with the French oak. On the palate, it has a buttery, slightly honeyed flavour and notes of fresh peaches with a long tailing off finish. A very pleasant medium dry Chardonnay which is more dry than medium and has more volume than you might expect – the 14% abv is a reflection of this. |
Price: | £7.99 |
ABV: | 14% |
Enclosure: | Cork |
Source: | Tesco |
Occasion: | Chilled as a wine substitute, outdoors, picnic |
Comments: | “Vegetal notes” are simply a group term for specific vegetable type, mainly bell peppers or similar vegetables. The bottle has a picture of two dances doing the “Huaso” which is the main regional dance done by the grape pickers at the end of the season. |
