It has ripe, juicy red-berry fruit combined with vanilla and black pepper on the nose and palate. Slightly darker in colour than you would expect it is not a heavy as it first appears, although at the higher end of the alcohol range. |

Closure: | Screw Top |
Source: | Waitrose |
Occasion: | Grilled meat, BBQ red meat |
Comments: | Blended by winemaker Bruce Jack at the Flagstone Winery in South Africa, this is a good example of a medium bodied Shiraz. Many will buy this wine for the humurous fish-bone label to have over a Sunday lunch, but that is OK, as at the price of this wine there is not much else of as good quality. |
