Goose Island Honkers Ale Chicago

Goose Island Honkers Ale Chicago - Side
Description: Pouring a lovely golden fawn colour, with a lingering fine foam, this beer has the delicate hop aroma that hides its proper taste. The wheat adds a nice fullness to the flavour of hops and malt, the fine bubbles refreshing in the mouth leading to a superb finish of dry hops. This is really a nice beer, and finishing the bottle too quickly I automatically ordered another. As a wine and beer taster, it’s not like me to have the same beer twice.

The side of the bottle says “A smooth drinkable English-Style bitter for drinkers who want more from their beer”. I think that sums this beer up; it is a very good drinking beer for English drinkers in England, so Americans will really appreciate it as a superb example of an English lager beer.
