Janneau Grand Armagnac

Region: France, Condom
Grapes: Perfect
Description: Produced entirely from double distilled eau de vie, using the original method of distilling with pot stills, the Double Distillation range offers the most versatile style of Armangnac from Janneau.

This process produces a lighter body and concentrates the classic fruity flavours, giving this Armagnac extra smoothness that makes it ideal as an after dinner drink, mixed in cocktails, or a perfect drink in its own right when served neat over ice.

Price: £28.97
ABV: 40.0%
Closure: Cork Bung
Source: Tesco
Occasion: To celebrate being alive
Comments: The text in the description is straight off the label on the bottle. It says everything and tells you nothing. For most versatile, think best tasting. It you put it into cocktails then you are a peasant. Whilst Brandy and Champagne is one of my faves, Champagne would not enhance Janneau. Janneau is my favorite Armagnac. The 5 year old is superb. The XO, however, is so ridiculously good that you often wonder whether you are worthy to drink it.
