Description: | South Africa’s Western Cape is an area of lush fertility and natural beauty and the home of KWV, a wine maker since 1918 with its cellar in Paarl. The wine from this region is full of fruit and character. The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz is a dark ruby wine, dry, fresh and fruity with hints of mocha flavours. A slightly extended taste on the tongue exposes further wild blackberry and chocolate flavours. The 2008 really has developed the body and complexity that is missing in the younger varieties. |
