By-Invitation’s main writer and taster is the renowned Simon Narracott.
Having been Product Marketing Manager for Microsoft in the ’80s, and IT Director at Tiscali in the ’90s, before going on to run a series of internet start-ups, Simon has travelled widely and been able to experience many of the regional food and wines from around the world.
Much of his travels and reviews have been written up and used as content for other peoples websites, and his wine reviews have been well followed. Finally deciding it was time to write some stuff for himself, this blog was started in mid-2012 to pull together the range of experiences that Simon wants to share with his readers. Look out for some good food and wine reviews, as well as more detailed visits and tours to locations that can be a springboard to further gastronomic and drinking delights.
With good wine comes good food, and good food can be found all around the world. An ever growing side to the by-invitation website is tourism and luxury travel, with Simon now writing again for many other blogs, matching their desire for tourism articles with his desire for food and wines.
