Aspall Dry Premier Cru Suffolk Cider

September 21, 2012 by Simon Narracott Leave a Comment

Aspall Dry Premier Cru Suffolk Cider Description: Aspall have been making cider since 1728 and this is shown in their range of ciders. This is Aspall’s flagship Premier Cru cider, and was reintroduced in 2000.

It pours straw-gold colour with a clean, light aroma of summer dessert apples. To the taste it is dry, round and creamy on the palate with a good apple taste, pleasant soft tannins exposed whilst lingering in the mouth and a long, smooth finish.

Note the traditional spelling of “cyder” on the label, marking the 275 years of cider making.
