Description: |
Deep ruby in colour, this has a clear aroma of redberries. Very sweet to the first taste, it is smooth due to its lack of complexity, but is consistent throughout, mixing a taste of earthy mulberry and dark fruits. Although initially sweet it quickly moves to a longer drier taste, and leaves with a warming alcohol and spices finish. It’s a 2012 wine, but doesn’t have that nasty new taste that some wines have.
This is also a fairtrade wine, so you can be seen to be doing your bit to help the growers as well as enjoying the wine. |
