Description: |
Chateau Lanessan Haut Médoc Delbos Bouteiller 1997 pours a bright ruby red with a complex and elegant aroma of black cherry, cedar and leather. Good structure in the mouth, with loads of black currant, dark berries and some charcoal in the mid-palate.
It has a long lingering finish, revealing all the earthy flavours from the berries with a hint of vanilla. This wine is much lighter than the later 2001, and can be considered as a more flexible drink with food. This Chateau Lanessan Haut Médoc Delbos Bouteiller 1997 is produced in Cussac-Fort-Medoc, in the south of Saint-Julian Beychevelle, which is one of the famous Cru Bourjois in the Médoc. It has been in the same Bouteiller family since 1793. |
