This beer pours very light and frothy with a generous head and an aroma of lemons and dark Tequila. First sip, refreshing, but more a taste of lemonade, like a weak lager and lemonade mix. After the 4th or 5th sip the faint taste of Tequila comes in, and remains for the rest of the drink. It is interesting, but I found it wholly disappointing. If it was a blind test I would have described it as a lager shandy with stale lemons.
Although this is described as a “real party starter”, I would assume this would be aimed at the youth market, or maybe outside parties in very hot weather. Otherwise it is a bit too weak where it counts to start anything in my mind, other than an order for something different.
