Foresters Original Cider

Foresters Original Cider Label
Description: I have seen Forester’s Original Cider in a few corner shops so I thought I would try one. It pours a light gold, with a coarse foam that doesn’t last. It has the aroma of tetrapack carton apple juice. To the taste, a slightly sharp hint of citrus and apple, the sharpness coming from the carbonation within the drink, backed up in a very watery body. Think apple juice mixed with fizzy water. The finish is clean with just a slight dryness. A totally underwhelming drink.

The label on the bottle doesn’t say who makes it, or even what it contains. In fact it doesn’t even say it contains apples!! Just that it is “fruity and refreshing”, of which it is neither.

For the same price, you could easily get a much better cider. This Forester’s Original Cider has to be one of the worst ciders I have ever had.
