Marstons Dark Rich Smooth Oyster Stout

Marstons Dark Rich Smooth Oyster Stout Label

Description: Marston’s Dark Rich Smooth Oyster Stout pours a dark brown in colour with a coarse mocha coloured foam head that doesn’t last.
It has a bright aroma of raisins, molasses and chocolate. In the mouth it is very smooth, but light, almost watery in places, like cold tea. The taste of chocolate remains throughout the drink, and there is a slight zest which maintains a brightness throughout without any intruding bitterness. The finish is clean, leaving only a slight uplifting hint of chocolate and dried fruits. Not heavy or difficult to drink, this is a lot lighter than many traditional stouts.

Marston’s Dark Rich Smooth Oyster Stout is an ideal pairing with strong fish or oysters, its lightness in finish really adding to the meal experience without detracting in any way from the food.
