Monsoon Valley Shiraz Rose 2011 Thailand
Monsoon Valley Shiraz Rose 2011 Thailand - Back
Description: Made from a trio of Chenin Blanc, Colombard and Shiraz grapes, Monsoon Valley Blended Rosé is a fruity, and versatile wine. Its pours light body and mango and red berry aroma, making Monsoon Valley Rosé a refreshing, stylish choice for hot summer dining and spicy Thai dishes like Tom Yam Goong soup or sweet Pad Thai noodles.

When chilled, the aroma is floral and light, but the body of fruit still remains. It says on the bottle that this can be a wine to match spicy food as well as act as an aperitif, and if you only had one bottle of wine for your meal you would never be disappointed with this. It has a long lingering aftertaste of vibrant berry fruit and this makes you want to let the wine linger before eating; which is great at making the meal last longer and the whole experience more savoured and enjoyable.

Thailand is not known for its wines, but with quality like this from the Monsoon Valley Winery, it won’t be long before you wouldn’t think of having anything else with your meal.
