Premier Estates Merlot Veneto

Premier Estates Merlot Veneto

Description: Blended from Merlot grapes of Veneto to be ‘indicacavzione geografica typica’, this is a pleasant, easy to drink red wine. A deep ruby red, it has very soft red raison and passion fruit aromas, almost velvety. Very smooth to taste, the simple taste of red fruit and tannins, very un-complex. No lingering taste, this is a simple, easy to drink wine. Instantly drinkable, instantly forgettable.

Letting the wine stand seemed to make no difference to the wine so it can be drunk straight after the pour.

This is a 2011 bottle, but that is only stated on the label on the back of the bottle. I wouldn’t worry though; at this price no one buys on years.
