Tesco Cava Brut

Tesco Cava Brut Back
Description: This Tesco Cava Brut is a sparkling Cava made by the traditional method to produce a medium dry style. It pours a pale straw yellow colour, with a full coarse foam, an has a fruity nose due to the varietal blend and the short bottle ageing. It is is noticeably bubbly, full of citrus zest and straw, yet remains harmonious on the palate with apple and hints of toast. It is very well balanced, good freshness and pleasant zesty finish.

This is a really good example of Cava. A lovely sparkling wine, full of rich and dark, light and zesty flavours, without any of the brightness that is often so annoying with other sparkling wine types.

It is recommended to be served chilled, and this sharpens the flavours, but I would suggest not over chilling this to really let the flavours work together.

There is also a Tesco Cava Demi Sec if you would prefer something a little lighter. If you try them both side-by-side you will really learn a lot about Cava and sparkling wines.
