The Ritz-Carlton, Abama, one of Tenerife’s most unforgettable luxury resort hotels is celebrating a year of significant enhancements since its re-naming in June 2014.
Managed by The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company since 2007, the resort’s official re-naming from Abama Golf & Spa Resort to The Ritz-Carlton, Abama, introduced the signature guest services of the iconic luxury brand of Ritz-Carlton, plus significant renovations. The resort is delighted to announce further developments throughout 2015.
From 1st July, guests will experience complete refurbishment of the resort’s Junior Suites and its show stopping Tagor’ Villas. The re-design features an elegant, neutral pallet of soft biscuit and oatmeal shades. New furnishings will include striking natural wood pieces, fused with metallic copper accents as seen in contemporary pendulous light shades. Fabrics will combine a myriad of textures seen in the suites’ curtains, upholstery and bed linens. The resort will also be introducing new family suites comprising two to three bedrooms and generous living spaces perfect for larger families.
The resort, renowned for gourmet excellence, will also be welcoming a new sous chef to its stable of elite culinary talent. Davide Bacchi will bring his first class experience from one of the finest Italian restaurants in China at The Ritz-Carlton, Beijing, and the two Michelin-starred Enoteca in Barcelona, to introduce guests to an exquisite menu of Italian cuisine. Guests will also see a new look and feel to Pampa, The Ritz-Carlton, Abama’s Argentinian restaurant, previously based on a South American steak house concept, renamed ‘Pampa Grill’.
The resort will be enhancing its technology, improving in-room entertainment and connectivity for guests. High-speed internet access will be accessible throughout the resort and guests staying in the premium Tagor’ Villas will have access to free wifi throughout their stay. All TV’s will be upgraded in size and capabilities, enhancing viewing experience both in-room and in public areas including the popular Sports Bar, perfect for catching up on the big games!
These exciting changes come as The Ritz-Carlton, Abama celebrates its successes a year on from its milestone re-naming. With 2014 welcoming the renovation of 206 Deluxe Rooms in the resort’s Citadel building, guests experienced a chic new look and feel to accommodation. Ritz-Club has also introduced an exclusive sanctuary providing the comfort, convenience and privacy of a hotel within a hotel.
