Description: |
A deep ruby red in colour, this has an aroma of redcurrants and forest fruits. Medium bodied, it is much softer in the mouth than you would expect, and not as harsh as some Tempranillo wines at this slightly higher alcohol lever. The taste of redcurrents flows through, wrapped in a pleasant earth hint. Nicely lingering at the finish, this is an ideal dinner wine.
This could easily be three times the price and you would still be pleased. At its low price it is an absolute bargain, and may well be the best ‘cheap red’ you could ever taste. Toro Loco means ‘crazy bull’ in Spanish and is the label used to reflect the passion and essence of the region. |
