Wyld Wood Premium Organic Classic Cider

Wyld Wood Premium Organic Classic Cider Description: Pouring the bottle, this Wyld Wood Premium Organic Classic Cider gives you get a deep golden colour, with a strong aroma of sweet summer earthy apples. Whilst there is almost no head at the pour, it continues to sparkle within the body of the cider, and this adds a refreshing zing to the taste that lasts in the mouth. Very intense in flavour, the apple slowly dissolves at the finish, leaving you wanting to come back for more. This cider should be served cold, but not be over-chilled, as this will bring out the best of the apple freshness but not hide the sparkle.

The label says organic, which I am sure it is, but without having anything to compare it to I cannot say if that improves the taste. From tasting this one it certainly doesn’t detract from it!

This cider has been made by H. Weston and Sons since 1880, and that pedigree is clearly shown in the taste. Only the best local apples are used, pressed on the day of harvest, and then fermented. This is not a vintage cider in any way, but is a refreshing drink for a summers day or a meal in the pub by a roaring fire.

Serve chilled and enjoy it on its own, or see its taste really expand over a cheese and onion butty.

H. Weston and Sons also make cider for the Tesco Finest label, so it is worth checking that out as it is not just a re-bottling of an own brand.
